"Billing Error and Deception at Rehab Facility"
They messed up billing my insurance, which required weekly approval. Even though I had good insurance, somebody in billing made a mistake and started processing it way too late. As a result, my insurance declined to pay. Shockingly, they also faked documents, making it look like I'd failed a breathalyzer test. I'm pretty sure they copied my signature from my daily drug test. Out of nowhere, they threw me out on the street. Being 1700 miles away from home, I felt lost. Thankfully, my mom was my saving grace. Not only did she believe my story, but she found me a halfway house. She looked into it and uncovered the truth. I could have sued them, but my main goal was to focus on my recovery and bond with people who truly cared about me.
