About Archways Inc

Archways Prevention Department currently provides a range of substance abuse services and programs to youth in our community. Current programs include Positive Action and Life Skills Training, which are universal, evidence-based programs designed to increase protective factors that help children and adolescents make healthy life choices and avoid alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Prevention services aim to increase awareness of substance abuse through participation in community-based events and strategies.Positive Action is a systematic educational program that promotes an intrinsic interest in learning and encourages cooperation among students. It works by teaching and reinforcing the intuitive philosophy that you feel good about yourself when you do positive actions.
