""Recovery” Program Leaves Patients Worse Off, Accused of Fraud""
I went to this "recovery" program and ended up worse off and traumatized. Run for the hills! I had a deadly allergic reaction to a medication they gave me which they failed to notice, and I almost died. The whole thing seems like it's just a scheme to make money. I've contacted my insurance company about fraudulent charges, and they're now investigating. The staff is almost abusive and definitely neglectful, making it a place where sick people can get even sicker. My heart goes out to anyone who has gone through this and was able to share their story. This is a very dark and scary place.

Outpatient drug and alcohol rehab programs are designed for clients that cannot leave their daily activities and responsibilities to attend inpatient therapy, but still need effective professional treatment to overcome substance abuse issues. While an inpatient program can monitor a patient around the clock, offering structure and preventing access to addictive substances, outpatient rehab programs usually run 2 to 4 hours each day. Before and after the program, the client remains in their normal home/work/social environment.The patient must be willing and able to exert the personal control needed to avoid the substance and the physical and psychological triggers that may lead them to use during and after treatment. Because of this, outpatient treatment is most beneficial for those who started abusing substances relatively recently and have a strong motivation to recover
