""Unfair Treatment Hinders Recovery at Run-Down Facility""
This place is a real mess. First off, it's falling apart. But the worst part is the guy in charge. He's been picking on someone I care about, making their life miserable. He's being punished for the tiniest things, which is not helping him get better. They won't let him find a job because of these unnecessary punishments. I can't even visit to support him during this hard time. They're using his status as a run-in with the law to justify their actions. This isn't helping him get better; in fact, it's hurting him emotionally. He's even started to regret choosing this place for help, which is a real shame because he needed it. It's so disappointing to see things this way. I hope my words will bring about some changes.

House of Hope is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the treatment and support of those with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Since 1969, House of Hope/Stepping Stones has provided hope and healing to more than 500 men and women annually, in both a residential and outpatient setting. House of Hope plays a critical role within the continuum of care and provides hope and healing to those with no other alternatives. Many of our clients would return to homelessness or incarceration without treatment and the skills development needed to support themselves and their families.
