"Worst Detox Center Ever - Overpriced, Uncaring, and Uncomfortable"
What a terrible time I had! I didn't even see a doctor once, and I was asked to leave right when my withdrawal symptoms were the worst and they couldn't handle it. If you have lasting pain and are trying to stop taking your meds, DON'T COME HERE. They basically just give you herbs and vitamins that you can buy on your own. There's no bathtub to soothe your aching muscles, and you're not allowed to sunbathe in your bathing suit. This place feels like a jail. They don't come check on you in your room; you have to remember to go to a window at certain times to ask for help, even when you're feeling awful and can barely think straight. They sent me away right in the middle of my detox and even kept my prescription meds when I left. Plus, they wanted me to sign a paper saying I was leaving even though they thought it was a bad idea. I'm lucky to be alive, but after seven days of detox, I'm still struggling. It's way better to stay in a hotel room with your own herbs and vitamins than to come here. At least hotels have bathtubs, a place to swim when you're feeling better, and they don't cost $800 a day! Don't go to this uncomfortable place. It's not worth the money. Maybe if they cared more about their patients than their profits, they'd give me my money back, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll let you know if they do.
