"Struggles overshadow benefits at New Beginnings"

My time at New Beginnings was filled with a lot of tough situations that really affected my stay. Sadly, it didn't feel at all like the fresh start I was hoping for. One constant problem was my shared room not having power for over a month. This made everyday stuff really hard and kind of uncomfortable. Plus, the washer and dryer haven't worked for three weeks, which made it hard to stay clean and just added more stress. Our kitchen ran out of propane, so we could only eat cold food, which was better than what they usually served, but still not great. No hot water either made even the simplest things feel like a huge chore. Also, there's a big issue with bed bugs in some rooms which is gross and not healthy at all. It's really upsetting to have stuff like this in a place where we're supposed to live. The way the staff treat us isn't great either. The way they look down on us has only made things harder. And having to sign in and out each time we leave feels really controlling and annoying. On top of this, they make us go to meetings that mess with our work schedules, making it even harder to find a job and get our lives on track. I mean, it’s great that New Beginnings let us stay for free and didn't rush us out, but all these problems sort of ruin that. To summarize, New Beginnings, while trying to do good, has been a really tough place to be. The constant problems with basic stuff, along with a not-so-helpful atmosphere, has made it hard for me to see this as a new beginning. I hope they can make things better for people trying to fix their lives.
