" "Break The Cycle Causes Trouble for Probationers - Do Not Go""

Don't go to Break The Cycle if you're on probation. I had to reschedule my anger management class four times because they kept getting the time wrong. I always said 11 AM but Janet, the lady I spoke to, always ended up saying it was 1 PM. This was a big problem for me because I work in the afternoon. Squeezing in appointments at the last minute was tough, so I'd have to push them to the following week. Janet always repeated back to me that my appointment was set for 11, but it still got messed up every time. Robert, on the other hand, was really helpful. He made sure my appointments were at 11 every Wednesday. Because of him, I was able to attend my sessions. But then I had to cancel one class because I had to cover a shift for someone at work. Although it was a last-minute change, I called the day before to let them know, and I left my full name and number. But they called me while I was working the next day, asking where I was. When I explained that I had left a message, they said I didn't leave my name or number - I know for sure I did. As a result, they told my probation officer that I missed the class without letting them know, which got me into trouble. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. Some of my friends have also had problems with Break The Cycle. It feels like their mistakes could land you back in probation and make you start your classes all over again - which costs $40 each time. I won't be going back to them. I found another place that only charges half of what they do. Break The Cycle needs to be more careful. They're causing problems for people who are trying to sort their lives out. Stay away from Break The Cycle.
