"Government Service: Lousy Environment and Inefficient Assistance"
This place, like a lot of government services, stinks. They rip the decency and kindness out of our lives, lives they're supposed to be helping when times get tough. No friendly greeting when you come in, just a mean and chilly place in an already cold world. The only attention you get is when they shout at you from the front desk, showing you they can turn mean fast. It's mostly run by Latinx folks and other people of color come here a lot. Spanish seems to be their preferred language here. They seem happiest when they're talking among themselves. Case Managers have way too much work and aren't paid enough, explaining their laid-back attitudes toward healthcare and the services they promise to deliver. Phone calls don't get picked up and replies, if any, take forever. So much government rigmarole and hurdles to navigate. Overall, I'm sure the services they do provide have good intentions behind them, but they're not getting the job done. Thanks for providing a service, but you could be anywhere else. Instead, you're here serving the community poorly.

Offering residents of Miami-Dade & Broward comprehensive health and support services, with focus on the LGBT Community. #CareResource is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, multi-cultural, community based AIDS service organization. For over 28 years, Care Resource has provided HIV/AIDS research, prevention, care and treatment services to individuals in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties and is South Florida's oldest and largest HIV/AIDS service organization. #CareResource has demonstrated excellence in the field of HIV/AIDS as it works to fulfill its mission and have a positive impact on Broward and Miami-Dade communities. Our work in the community has earned us the confidence of our clients and funding sources at local, state and federal levels. Fundraising activities and hundreds of invaluable volunteers help raise awareness, bring hope and build a sense of community. Care Resource offers free confidential HIV counseling and testing, to everyone. Besides offering services at our offices, services are also offered through mobile units at several community locations.
