"Avoid This Place: Unhealthy For Troubled Kids; Therapy a Better Option"
No way, not ever. This isn't a place to send kids when they misbehave. It's for kids with drug problems and major criminal pasts. The kids here think you're lame if you don't have a preferred drug. This site is not appropriate for anyone. You don't have outside contact and get only one weekly phone call. It's a horrible place and I definitely advise against sending your children here. Perhaps therapy may work for them. Don't surrender your child to this awful place.

Grove Counseling Center
The Grove Counseling Center treats behavioral health and substance use
disorders through our outpatient services, available for adolescents and
adults, our prevention and outreach programs, and The Grove Academy, our voluntary adolescent residential facility.
The Grove's Outpatient Programs are available for adolescents and
adults, with convenient scheduling and individualized treatment plans.
If you or someone you love is struggling with behavioral health issues
or a substance use disorder, The Grove's Outpatient Programs are here to
help.
The Grove's voluntary residential program, The Grove
Academy, addresses the physical, psychological and social needs of
adolescents with serious alcohol or drug problems and helps them build a
foundation for long-term recovery.
The Grove's prevention
programs are school- and community-based. Our Drugs, Violence and Safety
Prevention Specialists serve English Estates, Idyllwilde, and Wicklow
Elementary. Our Alpha Counselor serves English Estates Elementary.
Sunshine Grove is an after school program in the Goldsboro neighborhood
of Sanford, utilizing the 'Too Good for Drugs and Violence' curriculum.
Arts in Action is geared toward adolescent youth, and uses the
performing and visual arts to increase self-esteem, foster empathy, and
cultivate teamwork. The College Bound Project has a home base in
downtown Orlando, and works with high school students.
