"Limited Communication and Questionable Policies at Detox Facility"
My family member checked himself in here to stop using methadone on March 31st, and I've only talked with him once. They moved him to the residential part of the program after a week and said he could call on Mondays and Thursdays. But I haven't heard from him and I can't get through on any of the phone numbers. He's done with his detox of methadone so he should be able to call and maybe even come home. But he said they have to decide when he's ready or they won't pay for his flight home. He's only taking a multivitamin right now and he's not on any other medicine. He says he feels fine. I don't understand why he can't use his phone and talk to his family. This is just nuts. He doesn't have any mental disorders or drug addictions. He just needed help to stop using methadone so he wouldn't have to go to a local clinic. I have no idea why he can't be let go other than they're trying to make money from keeping him there. This place is not at all like what they say, it seems like a complete money scam.

So my loved one checked himself into this place to help with his methadone problem on March 31st. I've only heard from him once, which is so not cool. After a week, they moved him to a different area where he can only call on Mondays and Thursdays. One Monday already came and went without a call. Trying to reach him using any phone number is impossible. He's not on methadone anymore, so he should be able to call and even come home, but apparently the place decides when he's ready, or they won't pay for his flight back. He's only taking a regular multi-vitamin and no other meds, and he told me he feels fine. I don't get why he can't use his phone and talk to his family, it's totally insane. He doesn't have any mental illness or drug addiction, he just needs help to stop needing methadone so he doesn't have to visit the local clinic. I'm left guessing why they won't let him go - it's probably just so they can squeeze more money out of him. This place is nothing like they say it is, it seems like a total scam for money.
