"Disappointing Florida Rehab Offers Minimal Therapy, Poor Management"

This place is definitely not ideal for sending your loved ones. It's just another Florida recovery center making bucks because it's near the beach and using insurance to pretend they've got a 35-day program, which just happens to be the maximum covered by insurance. My spouse has been here for a month and barely got one hour of so-so therapy. The food is nothing special, but hey, they do serve three meals daily. You bet, there's phone access, but only after a three-day silence and then it's a quick "hello and goodbye" call twice a week, heard by everyone. They seem to forget how crucial communication is for addiction recovery, especially with family included. They don't share schedules or therapy details, making it hard to understand what's happening and what you're paying for. Based on our experience, all this place offers are standard AA programs that can be found anywhere else, and the living situation isn't great, either. The only positive is they detox and get your loved one on a medication schedule, which could be done at way better programs in any state. Don't fall for their basic website, short video clips, and generic reviews. There are many issues here, and while it might not be the worst place, it's poorly managed, communication is low, and supporting your family is really tough.
