The place looks nice, but they were not honest about the insurance. I specifically asked if they were in-network, and they told me they had great coverage with Cigna. After they said my son was approved, I drove him 2.5 hours there. But just three days later, I received a letter from Cigna denying his stay. Another big problem is they use off-duty police officers for security at this psychiatric facility. One day, my son got really upset, and instead of helping him, they called the sheriff's office to take him to a mental health hospital. While waiting, my son argued with security and said some harsh words. Instead of helping, the sheriff arrested him and took him to jail, not the hospital. He needed mental health care, not jail. The security even thanked the sheriff for doing him a favor by arresting my son. When I talked to the facility, they said this had never happened before but didn’t think having a police officer there was an issue. They also paid a company to clean up their bad Google reviews and got their staff and friends to leave good reviews to make themselves look better.
